We have cabinets!!

The Good News:  We have cabinets!  The Bad News:  We still don't have a closing date.  Hopefully, that will be remedied soon.  For now, here are some pictures of the progress:

Our beautiful maple cabinets in a toffee color.  We weren't so
keen on the standard oak cabinets, so this is an upgrade.
We really wanted a light, bright, and airy kitchen.

Our island, a must-have!  (Also, an upgrade.)

A close-up of what our countertops look like.  The hope is to
upgrade them within a year or two to either quartz or granite.

A close-up of the flooring in the kitchen and dining room
(which is dirty!).  We are also hoping to upgrade this, with
dark (cherry or mahogany) hardwood flooring.

This is the guest bathroom, with marble sink.  The marble
is an off-white color with white swirls throughout and yes,
the outermost drawers are functional.  (Sorry for the
angled Batman shot; the room is narrow!)

This is the master bathroom, also with marble sinks,
so, yes, hubby and I don't have to share! ;)

Our street is filling up quite nicely!  When we signed the contract
back in February, there was only one house on this side of the street!
